3 Tricks to Going Viral on Social Media

This is easier than you think…

You Social Media Masterclass is Here!

I’ve gotta keep it real comedy fam, social media has been a HUGE struggle for me.

Despite seeing it work for so many comedians, there has been a creative block preventing me from hitting that dreaded upload button.

Well that all changes today! (hopefully)

If you have ever felt this way you are not alone and thankfully we have Leah Rudick on the show to guide us through how to stop overthinking and start posting!

She has millions of followers and joined our weekly Q&A to promote her new special and share some very practical tips that make social media feel more accessible than ever.

Her strategy boils down to a few key points ANYONE can do:

  1. Just Start!

    • Leah encourages comedians to embrace imperfection and not be paralyzed by the quest for perfection. Getting comfortable with being 'not amazing' right away allows for growth and improvement. Remember, the most important thing is to keep moving forward and creating content.

  2. Do YOU boo!

    • Leah's success stems from her authentic, unique voice. She admits that anytime she tried to follow trends, her videos flopped. She didn’t blow up until she started creating unique characters that she enjoyed playing. Don't be afraid to showcase your personality and perspective. Authenticity resonates with audiences, making them more likely to connect with and follow you.

  3. Have FUN!

    • I spoke candidly about my struggles to post consistently and she encourages us all to have fun with the creative process of creating content. Leah admitted that 70% of her ideas go nowhere. The biggest difference between people that find success on social media and not are the ones willing to put in the work. So the whole goal is to create content you genuinely enjoy and that positive energy will translate online.

I’d love to connect with you in our Facebook group to keep this conversation going.
