CJ’s comedy journey has taken him from Louisiana to Dallas, Texas then LA and now to Austin, Texas.

During this time he has quickly climbed the ranks from open mics to opening for big names and now working at the Comedy Mothership. But getting here required a lot of sacrifice.

At one time he was living out of Air BnBs and stealing food from Doordash just to get by. Although his career has been a rollercoaster, the one constant has been his comedy grind.

CJ is the living example of pursuing comedy by any means necessary.

This is honestly one of my favorite Hot Breath! interviews ever because we get into the painful details of what it truly take to become a comedian.
