Maybe it ain’t so bad…

I’ll be the first to admit that this comedy game is a roller coaster of emotions.

Some days are up and some years are down.

But what has helped me persevere a 13+ year career is learning from other comedian’s struggles and realizing I’m not alone.

Today’s guest is going to change the was you see comedy forever.

He went from being a drug addict street performer to working with comedy greats like Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, and Bernie Mac.

Michael Colyar is incredible underdog story who as a child lived in one room with seven family members before selling everything he had to move to Venice where he was doing five one hour shows per day all while hooked on drugs.

These street shows are where he got discovered and now where 30 years later he is filming a new comedy special which he came on the show to promote.
